Toons are the main mascots of Dandy's World and serve as the game's playable characters. Each Toon has their own unique stats, along with 1 or 2 unique abilities that aid them in gameplay.
Upon first starting the game, Boxten and Poppy are offered as one of the two starter Toons, with whichever one the player doesn't select (along with everyone else) needing to be paid for in Dandy's Store with collected Ichor. (Ex; get Poppy at the start, have to buy Boxten And the other way around too.) Additionally, most characters have additional prerequisites that must be fulfilled before they can be purchased, such as reaching a certain amount of research on a Twisted or performing a certain action a set number of times.
