going to be real honest even if it offends people
if youre going to resort too bribing people to follow you by using the "follow for follow" tactic then thats just sad and almost pathetic.
many people work hard to get followesrs,and personally i find it so unfair if someone can get 20 followers a week just because they bribe them.you're not earning them.youre not even deserving them.

Another thing kind of stinky about f4f is that it usually means the person doing it flat our just.. doesn't care about who they follow. at all.
no way you're going to be keeping up with the 1000 different users on your following list, most of which come from fandoms you haven't interacted with before, even at 100 or so I still forget who i'm following sometimes.
i don't think i remember seeing any f4f users voting/commenting on my posts unless they managed to get on hot (aside from that one time one decided to be an asshole on one of my posts for no reason)
f4f gives younger users a false sense of someone enjoying their comics which can be discouraging when they don't get that same attention that perceive!!

Yeaaah I kinda agree with this
Sure some, and I mean some, people who do that have posted some decent content, but at that point I’m following them for their content and not for a free follow in return

Follower milestones are something to be proud of, and there's nothing to celebrate if you bribed for those follows.
It's like if youtubers bribed people to subscribe to their channels on youtube
