On the wiki says it's all "coincidences" so I'd explain it as they were inspired by the pomily members and didn't realize that tootoo is a pomily member too.

A few years ago there was a conspiracy that rare whimzies was gonna follow the same rule, and rare Rooba would be a different shade of green
