Description: PSA. I have seen people use the word like that, but some people have used it to the point where I can't tell if they're joking. This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.
Trauma really means a kid like seeing something they aren’t supposed to and they get suprised and freeze in strees/sadness/scareness, like seeing a giant spider in Australia, or seeing public nudity, or seeing somebody die in your eyes.
trauma can happen to an adult too, also that's more of a fight or flight. I don't know if seeing a big spider is traumatizing, per say, but i can understand seeing something you weren't supposed to is traumatizing. what i basically mean is people use it as a substitute for scared or startled.
