...I had a life too. And yet...despite that...I still listened to people. I still let them talk about their interests. I still heard their stories. I still was nice to them even when they were hurting...
...Even when my life was crumbling around me...I still put in the effort to do that...
...But...look what happened. No matter how much I listened...no one listens to me.
Be honest. It's not that life got in the way...it's that you just didn't care about me specifically.
