Alright chat can we not pick on popular artists? I was THIS close into making this psa into a comic but decided to still keep talking about this in text posts until i get frustrated enough to do so anyway.
This rant is coming from someone who doesnt give a flying FUCK about the hot page, and if not for third time have i heard that a minority of people from the mantle of this community choose to hate on popular artists, or on artists in GENERAL. and you might be thinking โis this about saltโ its about other artists aswell.
I feel like we should keep in mind that people shouldnโt go out and harass artists wether they are popular or not, im saying this AS an artist aswell, because guess what, they are human beings like you. Theyโre not filthy ragdolls you can choose to toy on all you want.
Like ALRIGHT i get it, you find it boring or unbalanced to the hot page, but it is what it is. You cant control the votes artists get from their works, itโs unsurprising at first, but neither can they.
And coming back to salt, im not a friend of him, which makes this rant look so fangirlish-but instead of bitching about how they always โโโhogโโโ the hot page, i get fascinated about it, because dude comes up with so many swag art and makes all of them look easy. Cheesy, i know.
Oh and btw, if you reeeeaaalllllyyyy want to hate on artists for what they do as a passion, do it on tiktok and get your ass whooped cause of how stupid you are for thinking about that in the first place.
