If people vote for something, it means they LIKE IT. it shouldnt be a challenge and you shouldnt force people to vote your stuff just because you want your dopamine from 24 hours on the hot page. If a meme gets 60 votes, oh fucking well its not the posters fault that 60 people like that specific comic.
my shitpost got 67 votes, and its because people thought it was COOL and ENTERTAINING twords them.

If people didnt vote your comic enough its probably because
-Not enough people saw it
-Be patient
-People have taste, they might not like it or might not want to vote it for whatever reason.
-Thats literally it.
if you dont want hot page drama, then dont whine if a low effort comic gets on the hot page or something that you dont like gets more votes than your comic. ("Its demotivati-" People still like your stuff, and you shouldnt feel bad if something does better than yours, youre just forgetting everyone else.)
Youre intentionally making it so other people dont get up there because of your selfishness, making it seem like votes matter the most out of anything.

TLDR: The hot page is for comics that are THE MOST LIKED. Not for comics that have the BEST QUALITY. People have different taste, yknow? Not everyones gonna like what you make.

Alright, I'm gonna try to be as brutally honest as possible while not trying to sound rude but I really.. REALLY don't like The Boys.
They have and had multiple problematic users who SHALL NOT BE NAMED unless you want me to. One has made borderline racist comics using the excuse that its countryballs, one that has had grooming allegations which is still in the group for some reason and more. This is counting the now exiled members of the group, too (which are for some reason still in the studio as Ops???)
I've also not had the best experience with this group. Alot of drama.
They also seem like.. a bit of a hivemind?? Like they try to be the best at everything it seems. Some of the users (usually just one user but there are exceptions) even PING the other members in what looks like the hopes of them boosting the comic, and the fact that there are ALOT of members in it that get pinged makes them basically ultra-boost the comic.

No, I'm not calling the whole gang problematic. There are a few people who I have 0 problem with but there are alot of users I have problems with.

They've literally had to kick out alot of people from the group due to them being problematic, yet there are STILL a few bad apples.
I tried my best to get everything right on this post, I'm just.. I just really needed to rant about this.
Feel free to repost or boost or whatever, I genuinely don't mind. I also blocked some of the users in The Boys so they don't attack me for saying this.
Not trying to start any sort of drama and I don't want this to spiral into drama. PLEASE don't harrass The Boys, I'm not trying to send haters their way.
