Lychee sighed, breaking the silence, and looked away, "Lotus?"
"Yes?"
"Why did you... you know, try to overdose?"
Lotus felt a shock going through her body, but she didn't know why. The question felt unreal, like she imagined it all, but it wasn't made up. It was a real concern Lychee had, and she had to answer it. She isn't going to run away this time, like she had 10 days ago. It was time to face the very question that was piercing through her brain also.
