Lou Jitsu/Splinter saved Raph and Donnie and raised as his own.When Raph and Donnie are exploring the sewers,they found Leo and Mikey so Raph and Donnie taking them both to Splinter and he gave them names but Leo's name wasn't Leo back then,it was Blue ( Leo's a transmasc trust me ) but when Leo is turning 8, he transitioned into a boy.
