They have always rubbedbme the wrong way...making really meaningless comments on my set like "wow!" "This is good!" Whiuc i get is nice and I am thankful but its always really empty to me. I periodically block the unblock them just to get me off their feed

I have a theory.
The reason I had them followed was because I saw they had lots of followers so I figured I should follow them too. So I think that perhaps lots of their followers came in from noticing all the followers already there.

honestly I’ve been put off by their vibe SO MANY TIMES
and the vote/follower beg descs are so annoy8ng!
also, they are just a rand9m cs user who (imo) makes pretty mid content, so that many followers is definitely artificial

i've always gotten confused on peh getting.. so many follows to be honest, they also always say please boost on everything so it cant be chalked to that. and there are the few bad things that they have done

Honestly, I haven't really seen much of their content or know much about them. But I was pretty surprised to know they were that popular (didn't just realize that now, I learned that a few months ago)

It sounds a little mean, but I figured out a while ago that following everyone you can find will get you the same amount of followers as people who make insightful and high effort content, there are at least 3 people on that “top 10” list that I can’t think of a specific comic from but have 1000+ users on their following. I’ve also been tagged by them in unrelated comics a few times as a “shoutout” which might be part of how they get engagement.

My only experience with Ercire was them calling my art bad unprompted under one of those opposite artstyle posts so I sent them to the block realm because I didn't want to put up with them 👍
I think I remember seeing a comment from them a few months later when I logged out to see comments on a post because I accidentally childlocked myself and they were like "Where is toastedkitties anyway?"
and to that i say ERCIRE L LMAO 🤣🤣 IMAGINE HAVING TO GET FOLLOWERS BY FOLLOWING HALF THE SITE‼️
