Using ai to make a oc because you don’t have any ideas on how it would turn out is ok, but making and ai art and say it’s your own thing isnt right

It demotivates artist who are learning and practicing for a long time, so what you say is true. Ai art does steal people’s work and motifs it to the expected prompt

One thing I like to mention about AI art is that, it doesn't have intention like real art does.

What was the AI thinking when "drawing" a specific piece? Most likely nothing. An Artist will put in what they are thinking into a piece, like a symbol or important object into a character's design. Put in an emotion on the character's face, make a specific colour choice, put into their own world. Due to AI not having an imagination, it cannot really do that.

Intention tells a story in a character, setting or art piece. The artist may have a bit of their home town as inspiration for the setting. AI doesn't have a home town, so it must take from other images that may have completely different inspirations and splice them together.

It's unoriginal and bland is what im saying lol
