@i_live_inside_your_walls stage 1 is basically the calm before the storm. people are happy with all the good content being posted by big creators, but they know that if those creators keep posting, it will spread to the content farms. early stage 2 is when the fandom starts to get really worried. when that stage starts, its a gamble of life or death for the fandom. it almost feels like a weird horror film. stage 3 is when the fandom sees the content and starts making LOADS of hate content on the content farms. (trust me I will join them)
stage 4 is when the fandom just gives up. stage 5 is post-apoctalyptic. luckily most fandoms recover. we are LUCKY it never got past early stage 2.
@fig_flop thats pretty much it but there are some cases that it goes from stage one to straight to stage 3 if it blows up quickly, like digital circus got content farmed like not even a week after the pilot released
