ok. hear me out. longan has a deep-rooted fear of failure thanks to his parents, and always tries to be as 'perfect' as possible, and ends up bottling up his emotions as a result. a perfectionist to a fault. he often bites his nails and skin when alone

he'll also occasionally have periods where he subconciously bottles up all his emotions because its become such a habit, and doesnt feel much of anything for a few days. this is usually followed by a preferabley private breakdown, and the cycle restarts.

he is seeing a therapist, though he was really scared to ask his parents to help him find one. they were much more supportive than he had feared, and now they're also trying their best to support him when possible.

he occasionally also feels ashamed that he sees a therapist at all, and sometimes skips his sessions, even though he knows it's a horrible idea. that's usually when he ends up having breakdowns.

he also refuses to talk about his problems for a whole host of reasons, even sometimes with his therapist. even the other 4 think he's taking weekly vocal lessons. maybe he has a nice singing voice,, maybe he sings to distraxct himself when hes stressed,

Pineapple has had a famine and he kept a pet with the tribe he lived with. Since the tribe was so desperate they cooked the pet. That's partially why he's vegan.
