I understand a lot of you are justifiably angry/sad that you were lied to about their situation.
I admit that after years of moderating and running sites like this, I am sadly desensitized to it -- I don't feel one way or another, I just know how to recognize the signs.

Let me tell you this:
A lot of people will lie to you like this - especially in spaces where mostly everyone else is a minor - and you just have to accept it. The best thing you can do is learn from it and move on.
I'm still waiting on a response from m0thy, but I'm willing to bet that it was for attention. The best thing you can do is just not give it to them. Get rid of that negative energy and instead spend it on loving the people who are around you - that's the best way to prevent things like this from happening in the future, real or not.

Lowercase syrupyy will be back tomorrow. Maybe I'll start an event or something to clear the tension?
