A common question I get is what editor I use for making my comics look the way they do.

I personally use Photopea. It's a free alternative to Photoshop that you can use in your browser. It is possible to use it on your phone, but I heavily recommend using a computer.

All comics are put together on Photopea and then pasted as a custom background on CS. The only thing I add with CS is the dialogue and other text boxes.

For things like shading or lighting, I use "Blending options." Right click a sprite's layer and then choose the first option. You'll see a menu where you can apply all kinds of effects to the sprite. Mess around with it and try to make the sprite fit more into the world!

A visual comic guide will be made eventually as well as a blog post on the wiki. If you want your comic to look nice and are willing to put in the extra effort, go for it!

Just remember, even if it looks pretty, there's no guarantee it'll pop off. It's only important to have fun!
