Okay, this may not be entirely true to some, but I think this would be the best way to go about it. The Hot page isn't a competition. It's like... a showcase of comics that people really like at the time your browsing it. Effort and "No Effort" comics can co-exist as long as they entertain others. It's like, the whole point of a "comic", no matter the length.
